Manila Galleons dinner brings together two cultures

Next month, in observance of Filipino American Heritage Month and National Hispanic Heritage Month, JSix chef Anthony Sinsay will collaborate with chef Javier Plascencia for a dinner called “The Manila Galleon.”

The dinner, Sinsay said, “will explore the relationship between the two cultures” of the Philippines and Mexico. The Manila Galleons were Spanish trading ships that for more than 200 years linked the Philippines and Mexico.
