Before the ‘I do’s’ take a final hurrah to Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the quintessential destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties — so much so that movie after movie has been made featuring characters that did just that (The Hangover, Bridesmaids, and on and on). While there are options galore for male and female revues, strip clubs, spas, brunches, dinners and more, let’s focus on nightclubs on the Las Vegas Strip.

VIP and bottle service at nightclubs and dayclubs is pricy, but it is worth it for this important occasion when considering the time saved from not waiting in long entry lines; a private area with service; and photo and video memories for Instagram and Facebook that hopefully will last for a very long time.

Here are six nightclub picks to celebrate into the early hours of the morning with your BFFs before adding Mr. or Mrs. to your name. At the end of the day, whether day or night, it’s all about having fun!

Drai’s Nightclub atop The Cromwell is the unique nightspot on this list in that it actually sits atop a casino resort. There are from this perch stunning views of Caesars Palace, Bellagio and its Fountains, Bally’s Las Vegas and more when the pool area is open during the evening. Drai’s also is one-of-a-kind in that resident performers are mostly of the hip-hop genre who perform about 30-minute sets, and don’t forget about the state-of-the-art technology, including LED screens above and flanking the main stage. With the adjoining Surrender Nightclub now closed at Encore Las Vegas, the focus is entirely on Encore Beach Club at Night, which like four others on this list offers indoor and outdoor venues — the outdoor spaces are perfect for when it’s finally cool enough to step outside. The vibe is South Beach mixed with the French Riviera and Mediterranean and features resident celebrity DJs to complement its sister hotspot XS Nightclub and adversaries Hakkasan Nightclub, Marquee Nightclub and Omnia Nightclub. Daytime party option: Encore Beach Club.

Hakkasan Nightclub inside MGM Grand Las Vegas is the unique nightclub on this list in that it is the only one that is entirely indoors; it includes the award-winning, world-class Hakkasan Restaurant on the first and second levels; and it’s third, fourth and fifth levels are the nightclub featuring resident celebrity DJs, plus separate venues Ling Ling Lounge and Ling Ling Club. Yes, that’s three nightlife experiences in one, and this is the only Hakkasan location in the world that is a fine-dining restaurant, lounge and nightclub.

Marquee Nightclub inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features a main room with resident celebrity DJs; an outside pool area for an outdoor casual vibe; a downstairs Boom Box Room for a small-nightclub feel; and an upstairs Library for a lower-key night with cocktails created by bartenders and mixologists who’ll concoct more than just beer bottles and well drinks. It’s four venues in one — then there’s the 24-hour secret pizza (with no signage) spot at The Cosmopolitan as one exits Marquee. Daytime party option: Marquee Dayclub.

Omnia Nightclub inside Caesars Palace is the most similar to Hakkasan in that it’s almost entirely indoors except for a patio with a DJ and seating with Strip views, plus Hakkasan Group owns both nighttime hotspots. Omnia, which also has a location in downtown San Diego, is a standout for its main room that looks like an opera hall with skyboxes and a mobile chandelier and its resident celebrity DJ lineup with live-performance duos, recently Zedd and Maren Morris performing The Middle.

XS Nightclub inside Encore Las Vegas was one of the first and is still one of the best nightclubs to feature indoor and outdoor nightlife. XS is just as opulent as Encore Beach Club at Night — more so, actually— and its resident celebrity DJ lineup competes with Hakkasan Group’s. In fact, they’ve fought back and forth for the top global DJs. It’s worth noting that if EBC at Night and XS are booked, Intrigue Nightclub, the newest nightclub at adjoining Wynn Las Vegas, also is worth a wedding party’s time. Daytime party option: XS Pool.
