11.1-10: San Diego Beer Week

Spearheaded by the San Diego Brewers Guild, this 10-day celebration of suds involves more than 130 of the county’s craft breweries, bars and restaurants. Here are a few of Beer Week’s signature events. Events throughout San Diego,

● 11.1: Virtual Kick-Off Toast

● 11.10: Beer Garden

11.2: Escondido Tamale Festival

Treat yourself to North County’s best tamales during this annual event that includes live entertainment, a beer and wine garden and a Chihuahua fashion show, among other attractions.

Step through a portal to the past during two days of jousting, pageantry and tons of entertainment inspired by the Elizabethan era.

11.3: 45th annual Carlsbad Village Fall Street Faire

Spanning 14 blocks and featuring a community stage showcasing local talent, the event billed as the country’s largest one-day street fair returns with more than 50 food booths, 800 merchants and 100,000 attendees eager to partake in the festivities.

11.7: 25th Anniversary Gaslamp Gala

Nosh on tray-passed apps from 10 of downtown’s best restaurants, then raise a glass to the Gaslamp Quarter during a decadent three-course dinner that evolves into an outdoor bash on Fifth Avenue.

11.8: Opening Day of Bing Crosby Season

Place your bets and root for your favorite ponies in this racing season redux that harkens back to the Track’s 1930s heyday with a variety of vintage Hollywood fashion contests.

Gear up for the slopes as San Diego’s largest snow-centric expo returns to Del Mar, offering up to 70% off brand-new clothing and equipment along with a free lift ticket for attendees.

11.11: 33rd annual San Diego Veterans Day Parade

Show your respect for local veterans and active-duty service members during this one-mile parade past the USS Midway and concluding at the picturesque Embarcadero.

11.13-15: SommCon San Diego

Featuring 50 sessions, 50 presenters and 500 vintages, this conference and expo for wine workers (and serious enthusiasts) focuses on sommelier-level education about the business of wine.
