Yoga for Hope returns to Petco Park on Saturday
The only thing better for yogis than enjoying a namaste-filled morning of outdoor yoga is doing it for a great cause like Yoga for Hope. Yoga-lovers of all skill levels are welcome to come out for a session on the center field of Petco Park, taking place at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13.
The event raises funds for the City of Hope, an organization that does research for integrative therapies to fight life threatening illnesses. To date, the organization has raised over $200,000 through Yoga for Hope.
The morning will offer event-goers a yoga session as well as live music, shopping, vendors and a variety of food options. Seane Corn, Michael Fukumara, Stacy McCarthy and Claire Petretti-Marti will be leading the yoga practice.
Those who are interested can join as individuals or as a team. Pre-registration is $45 for adults ages 16 and over.
