San Diegans are team “no” on the Chargers initiative

The Chargers and their to-be or not-to-be stadium has been an ongoing battle of yes and no since it was laid out to the public. Recently, the Chargers released their vision for the stadium in the video below:

Chargers reveal vision for new stadium

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that current polls indicate San Diego voters will be turning down the initiative.

“Start with the media game. It will soon become more important in the Stadium Game, because a large number of voters say they’re either undecided about the initiative or have yet to give it attention,” said writer Tom Krasovic.

So, if the media is on the Chargers side, then they may get the vote? Krasovic explains, “The Chargers have far more media clout than do the initiative’s opponents, giving them a better chance of reaching more of these voters.”

What do you think? Would you vote “yes” or “no” on the initiative?

Would you vote yes on the new Chargers stadium vision?

A gourmet pizza fest is coming to San Diego

Good pizza has the power to change lives. Okay, maybe that’s a bit far of a stretch, but pizza is both powerful and delicious. With that being said, the news of the first ever San Diego Gourmet Pizza Fest has us pretty excited. The festival will be held at Ingram Plaza in Liberty Station on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be 21-and-up. Tickets are $35 and include tastings of pizza from places like URBN, Red Oven Artisanal Pizza, Solare, Oggi’s, Mamma Mia, Isola Pizza and more. There will also be beer provided by Mike Hess Brewing, Mission Brewery and 32 North Brewing to name a few.

Pizza-tasters will be able to vote for their favorite San Diego pizza at the fest, as well.

That’s all folks! Have a great weekend and as always, stay classy, San Diego.
