Press Release
KAABOO Del Mar is thrilled to announce its second annual KAABOO ArtworK Experience, taking place

Sept. 16 - 18

at the historic Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds. The ArtworK Experience will showcase a plethora of contemporary art, including live mural painting, inspiring art installations and unique exhibitions by dozens of globally acclaimed artists.

Guests can fully immerse themselves in a visual journey of contemporary art, discovery and creativity as part of the overall KAABOO ‘mix-perience.’ KAABOO-goers can casually browse incredible pop-ups by top galleries and exhibiting artists in one of Southern California’s largest contemporary art fairs. KAABOO guests experience works from over 100 artists, hailing from across the country and around the globe. ArtworK features an array of visual media, including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, mixed media and more.

The ArtworK curatorial team assembled a show that gives a taste of all corners of the contemporary art scene. New this year, ArtworK will merge its space with Palate, KAABOO’s artisanal food and spirits experience, to pair the art viewing with gourmet bites and cocktails from some of the finest restaurants and chefs in California. “It is extremely fulfilling to see the diversity that we’ve brought in with ArtworK 2016,” says Ariel Gordon, ArtworK Director. “You can be a seasoned collector or a casual culture buff, or anything in between...there will be something for every KAABOO-goer to discover. I’ve already got my eyes on a few works.”
