Seth MacFarlane to perform with San Diego Symphony
You already know Seth MacFarlane is good with his voice - just watch “Family Guy” or “Ted.” But did you know he has a great voice?
His baritone voice landed him a record deal in 2011, when he released his first studio album, “Music Is Better Than Words.” It showcased his fascination with the Great American Songbook.
For this Bayside Summer Nights concert, MacFarlane will serenade you under the starry San Diego skies with his favorites from 1940s and ‘50s on both Friday and Saturday night starting at 7:30 p.m.
Expect a repertoire influenced by such MarFarlane musical idols as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. The shows take place with the San Diego Symphony on Embarcadero Marina Park South.
Details: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. All concerts at the Embarcadero Marina Park South, behind the San Diego Convention Center. Single tickets from $16 to $81; variety of ticket packages available (limited availability). (619) 235-0804 or sandiegosymphony.org
