San Diego: This Weekend (Dec. 8-11)

Share

From The Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade to comedian Steve Byrne at the La Jolla Comedy Store, there’s plenty to do this weekend in San Diego.

It’s time to do some shopping! More than 26 businesses in this cool neighborhood will stay open late to take part in the winter edition of North Park After Dark. Those in attendance have the opportunity to visit stores between 5-9 p.m. and stamp a raffle card (most get 10 stamps) to enter for a variety of prizes. For more information and updates, visit the event’s Facebook page.

Jon Rudnitsky - Thursday through Saturday

“Texting I find painful, because I wait. I can’t handle it. If a girl doesn’t respond to me in 30 to 40 seconds, I assume the worst: that she’s not into it. You thought I was going to say something more dramatic, like, ‘Worst-case scenario, she’s dead.’ That’s best-case scenario, because then I don’t have to technically deal with the rejection. ‘Oh she got hit by a bus? Thank God, I thought she was just ignoring me.’ ”
