Petco Park voted best MLB stadium in the country

Share

Take me out to the ball game at the best park in the nation, please! It won’t be a distant trip since it’s right in our own backyard.

Yep, San Diego’s Petco Park ranked number-one out of all 30 MLB stadiums in an article by USA TODAY.

The list’s order was determined by each stadium’s “general atmosphere and design, plus its location, amenities, food, and quirks.”

Petco Park topped the list, and there’s some great reasons as to why, according to writer Andrew Joseph:

“Petco Park is For The Win’s undisputed best ballpark in baseball. Really, it’s great. From the expansive views of the downtown San Diego skyline, to the vast local beer and food options, to the perfect weather, Petco Park is everything MLB teams should want for their ballparks. All that’s missing is a winning team, but we can’t blame the stadium. Petco Park rocks.”

We tend to agree. Who else made the list?

The rest of the top ten includes:

AT&T Park - San Francisco Giants

PNC Park - Pittsburgh Pirates

Wrigley Field - Chicago Cubs

Dodger Stadium - Los Angeles Dodgers

Kauffman Stadium - Kansas City Royals

Coors Field - Colorado Rockies

Fenway Park - Boston Red Sox

Target Field - Minnesota Twins

Citi Field - New York Mets

What do you think? Is San Diego’s Petco Park really the best stadium of all?
