Get (Mountain) High This Winter
The 2016-17 winter season is just weeks away at Mountain High, Southern California’s closest winter resort. Skiers and snowboarders of all experience levels have until the end of the month to purchase season passes before prices increases on Nov. 1.
Mountain High is preparing for the upcoming season by hiring new team members, testing snow-making equipment and stocking up on the latest skiing and snowboarding merchandise. The resort is also bringing back some of the most experienced instructors in the area to teach Southern California residents how to ski and snowboard.
“Mountain High is the best local place to learn or polish up your skills,” said John McColly, Chief Marketing Officer.
From now until October 31, skiers and snowboarders can purchase a 2016-17 any day season pass for $399 adult and $349 young adults (ages 13-21). Children’s passes for ages 7 - 12 are available for just $229. Seniors age 70+ receive a free season pass and children ages 6-under receive a free season pass with the purchase of an adult season pass.
An any day season pass provides unlimited access to Mountain High’s three resorts (West, East, North) plus 50 days at 17 other mountains including Sierra-at-Tahoe (Calif.), Brian Head (Utah), Whitewater (Canada) and, new this season, Kiroro, Japan. That means a value of $3,684 with no additional purchase necessary. Visit www.powderalliance.com for a complete listing of resorts, benefits and restrictions.
“With 50 free days at all 17 partner resorts thanks to the Powder Alliance, you will have more powder days than anyone at an unbelievable value,” said McColly. “Plus, we have an entire season loaded with special events, live entertainment and so much more. We’re absolutely stoked about the upcoming season.”
Mountain High pass holders can spend three days at their local favorites or discover new mountains both nationally and internationally. Additional benefits include monthly discounts at Mountain High for family and friends, free tubing, free disc golf along with savings on lessons and retail.
Passes may be purchased online, at the resort and by phone at 888-754-7878. Please note there is a $10 processing for all new passes purchased, including senior and children 6-under. Visit mthigh.com for a full list of pricing and benefits.
