Pawty time: Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade is back
Dog-lovers: Prepare to celebrate the holidays with your furry friends at The San Diego Union-Tribune Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade, taking over the Hilton Gaslamp Park on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m.
The event will feature tons of adorable, festive pets in their holiday costumes at the pet expo and parade. The parade will take a route up Fourth Ave. to E Street and down Fifth Ave. to end under the Gaslamp Quarter sign. With all those creative costumes, you know there will be a competition of epic pet proportions.
Pets will compete for: Best ugly holiday sweater, cutest critter, best pet costumes (both dog and non-canine), best costumed duo, best costumed group, best wildlife costume, best costumed adopted pet and best in show. The first place winners will receive a trophy and a certificate for seven days worth of complimentary daycare at Doozydog! Club.
