Share

Craig ( Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker) are returning to theaters in support of the 20th anniversary of “Friday” on the unofficial weed holiday, April 20. For the first time ever, fans can enjoy the never-before-seen director’s cut in theaters, plus a special featurette, “Friday Straight Up,” with interviews and stories from the cast.

Two San Diego theaters will be showing the classic film: Horton Plaza 8 located at 475 Horton Plaza, downtown and Mission Valley 20 located at 1640 Camino Del Rio N, Mission Valley.

Universal Music Enterprises’ “Respect The Classics” campaign celebrates the occasion with the vinyl reissue of its double-platinum selling soundtrack “Friday: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.” This 20th Anniversary edition features a special 3D “smoking gun” lenticular album cover and includes songs by the hip-hop pioneers.
