San Diego Beer Week brings out the beer-bellied beast in all of us. From bars to restaurants to breweries, locals imbibe and nosh with reckless abandon and sudsy smiles. We’ve uncovered the most hedonistic and lip-smacking events this year, so start saving up those calories now:

SATURDAY

“Milled, Chilled, & Jelly Filled”

The clever name alone brings on the drool. Join the craft beer veteran and Nomad Donuts at the brewery’s Knoxville Street tasting room during SDBW’s opening weekend. Don’t miss their Early Bird Mocha Milk Stout, a collaboration brew with Bird Rock Coffee Roasters and the special “beer donuts” paired with, what else? Beer. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Raclette & Beer Pairing

Cheese please! For $15, guests gorge on kettle chips and cornichons “smothered” in the beloved Swiss cheese along with a pint of either the Glorious or Fool Me Twice brews. 5-8 p.m.

SUNDAY

Belgian Beer & Waffles

Is there a better brunch food than waffles? Heaven awaits with Marcel Belgian Waffle Truck’s specialties paired with eight of Council’s Belgian-style beers, including St. Nick’s Punch, a farm ale with grape must, a Bourbon barrel-aged Quad, and the Deadlock Boysenberry, a barrel-aged dark sour. Noon to 6 p.m. (Go early.)

MONDAY

Truffles & Beer Pairing

Chocolate lovers who know the magic of Andrea’s Truffles will be lining up for this decadent pairing in North Park’s neighborhood hotspot. Tickets are $11 and include two truffles paired with two 5-ounce beer pours. 4-8 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

NPBC Beer Floats

Drink in your indulgences with a mouthwatering array of pleasure bombs from Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream including Pineapple Coconut and Stay Classy Small IPA, Banana Storm and Burlingame Black Lager, or Toasted Coconut and Darkness Refined Imperial Stout. All floats are $5 each. 3 to 9 p.m.

Hoppy Yoga, various locations throughout SDBW

Breathe deep and stretch out that beer belly at a variety of Hoppy Yoga sessions, designed for all experience levels, and followed by post-workout beer social. Appearing at Saint Archer Brewery on Nov. 5, Culture Brewing Company - Ocean Beach on Nov. 6, with a triple header on Nov. 13 at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens - Liberty Station, Green Flash Brewing Company and Culture Brewing - OB. Modern Times Vegan Brunch

Plant lovers rejoice, this beer week has something for you health-conscious and compassionate-minded people, too. Settle into veteran bar Churchill’s from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for veggie delights and pairings from beloved vegan brewery, Modern Times Beer.

Gluten-Free Sandwiches & Duck Foot Brewing Company

Celiacs and gluten-intolerant sufferers don’t have to miss all the fun! Head to Ocean Beach for a tummy-pleasing set of sammies and gluten-free beer from GABF award-winning Duck Foot Brewing Company. 5-10 p.m.

Tea + Hops

Charge your anti-aging, antioxidant power this SDBW with a variety of healthy tea/craft beer combos. Nov. 8 begins with Green Tea with Citra Hops, sure to be a refreshing version with notes of citrusy grapefruit and lime. A Kohatu and white tea IPA heralds their second release on Nov. 9, Galaxy and Rooibos IPA hits on Nov. 10, and Mosaic and Orange Pekoe IPA rounds out the set on Friday, Nov. 11.
