Fit Friday: Double big toe pose

Share

We love a good ab-strengthening move, especially one that also provides a nice, pain relieving stretch. This yoga pose challenges your body to maintain balance by use of your core and back muscles, but also provides a nice stretch for your hamstrings, calves and feet. The double big toe pose is beneficial for those who are looking to improve their balance, relieve back pain, strengthen their core and help digestion, as well.

We challenge you to hold the double big toe pose for 10 to 20 seconds at a time. As you become more comfortable with the position, try adding 10 seconds each time you perform the pose.
