Carols and Barrels is here with holiday cheer, good beer
‘Tis the season for good cheer, good beer and great wine. Prepare to sip, dance and nosh on holiday treats at the Carols and Barrels beer and wine festival, making its way to the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature unlimited tastings of more than 60 different craft beers and wines and small bites from local restaurants across San Diego. The holiday fest is also raising funds for a great cause: Cancer For College. Cancer for College is an organization that gives cancer survivors an opportunity to attend college through specific scholarships.
There will be plenty of cheerful activities to take part in, such as live music, carolers, an ugly sweater contest and guest appearances from Santa and the legendary Buddy the Elf.
General admission tickets are $45-$55. Entrance begins at 2 p.m. and includes a souvenir taster cup, unlimited beer and wine samples and food samples, as well; VIP tickets are $75-$85 and include all general admission ticket perks, as well as early entrance at 1 p.m., a souvenir pint or wine glass and private VIP restrooms.
