The antithesis of a Woodstock-style, ‘60s-era outdoor music festival, KAABOO is “uniquely curated to appeal to all five senses,” according to its promoters.

“Our goal is to reach 24-to-55-plus [adults] who love the concept of live music, good cuisine and beverages, incredible art exhibitions and the enjoyment that comes with a ‘festival,’ but desire more comfort and luxuries in their average daily life,” says Emily Nugent of New York’s Behrman Communications, KAABOO’s public relations agency.

Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz and OneRepublic are part of KAABOO’s jaw-dropping lineup of 39 musical acts announced to-date. Dana Carvey, Janeane Garofalo and Darrell Hammond are among the stand-ups slated for Humor Me, the three-day event’s indoor, air-conditioned comedy club.
