2019 Wonderfront Music and Arts Festival set times announced

More than 85 acts are expected on seven main music stages and five activation stages when the festival makes its debut along San Diego Bay next month
With exactly 24 days before it makes its debut in San Diego, Wonderfront Music and Arts Festival on Tuesday announced the set times for the three-day event that kicks off Nov. 22 along San Diego Bay.
More than 85 acts are expected on seven main music stages and five activation stages. Confirmed performers for the Nov. 22-24 music marathon include Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, MGMT, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Vince Staples, Miguel, Preservation Hall Jazz band, Suicidal Tendencies and X Ambassadors.
Last week, Wonderfront announced that Billy Gibbons, Nancy Wilson, Steve Lukather and others will headline a “Guitar Legends” show at the festival. The 90-minute performance, which will feature additional guitar stars, will be filmed for a CW network TV special.
Also set to appear are such San Diego-bred bands as Schizophonics and Slightly Stoopid, the latter of which holds the record for the most headlining performances by any musical act — national or international — at Chula Vista’s nearly 20,000-capacity North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre.
Wonderfront will begin on Nov. 22 with Cofresi opening the festival at 3:30 p.m., with the day ending with Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Miguel and Don Omar all simultaneously performing on three different stages.
On Wednesday, the festival is expected to release a map that will identify the location of the seven waterfront stages as well as entrances.
