It’s being billed as “The Man. The Music. The Show.” And from what fans are saying, it’s definitely a show. What else would you expect from consummate entertainer Hugh Jackman, an Oscar-nominated and Tony Award-winning actor? His first world tour — “The Man. The Music. The Show.” — is Jackman’s attempt at taking his talents from the theater and big screen and putting it on the stage as part of a massive arena concert. The New York Times, in a review last week, said the show felt like it would be better suited for Broadway than Madison Square Garden. But no matter. Fans are flocking to his show, which kicked off on May 7 in Glasgow, where his three shows brought in $2.7 million. It’s no surprise then that for the week ending June 22, Jackman’s show — inspired by the actor’s performance in “The Greatest Showman” — topped Billboard Boxscore’s list of top-grossing tours, bringing in $23.4 million and selling 289,586 tickets from 26 shows across Europe. On Tuesday, see for yourself if the 50-year-old actor’s performance lives up to the buzz.

Hugh Jackman: 7 p.m. Tuesday. Pechanga Arena San Diego, 3500 Sports Arena Blvd., Midway District. $29.50-$225. (888) 929-7849. axs.com
