Free outdoor concerts kick-off summer season throughout San Diego County

The weather is warming up and so are local musicians in preparation for free outdoor summer concerts happening up and down the county over the next three months. Music of many genres — ranging from big bands and classic rock to oldies and blues and everything in between — will be performed at various venues, including parks, community gazebos and beachfront properties. So “amp up” your summertime fun with family and friends and take advantage of the multitude of concert choices we’ve rounded up below for every musical preference under the sun.
