Let’s get loud with JLo

Whoa, JLo! Say it ain’t so! Hard to believe the one and only Jennifer Lopez hits the big 5-0 next month. And how, pray tell, is she going to celebrate such a momentous milestone birthday? (Well, other than making sure she looks better than most of us do in our 30s, that is.) She’s heading out on a 31-date swing across North America, of course.

Only the fourth time Lopez has hit the road for an extended period of time, Jenny from the Block comes to San Diego as part of her It’s My Party Tour on June 10.

Things will once again be done on a grand scale, as each It’s My Party stop will feature over-the-top set design, wardrobe changes throughout the night, and the meticulous choreography long associated with Lopez performances.

In February, the Golden Globe nominee and Billboard Icon Award winner appeared on the Bryan Adams single That’s How Strong Our Love Is, and she enlisted rapper French Montana for a new one of her own, Medicine, in April.

Lopez continues to juggle music with her TV and film career, currently appearing on NBC’s World of Dance and starring (alongside Cardi B, Constance Wu and Julia Stiles) in the feature film Hustlers, set for release in September.

• Lopez was married to fellow singer Marc Anthony for a decade and currently is engaged to former MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez.
