Live Nation ticket sale: 34 San Diego concerts for $20 each, all-inclusive

For the fifth consecutive year, Live Nation — the world’s largest concert and live-events promoter — is offering a $20, all-inclusive, National Concert Week ticket sale that will only be available online.

It applies to more than 2 million tickets by 600 artists for 2,000-plus concerts nationwide, including 34 in San Diego (down from 43 last year). The amount of tickets available for each concert will be limited in each city “while supplies last,” according to a Live Nation representative.

The sale for all concerts, including those in San Diego, will run from 9 a.m. May 1 until 11:59 p.m. May 7, local time, on livenation.com. A pre-sale for T-Mobile subscribers will be held from 5 a.m. April 30 until 4:59 a.m. May 1.

The $20 price applies to concerts here by such diverse acts as Santana, Wiz Khalifa, Brad Paisley, Beck, Gloria Trevi and The Chainsmokers.

The full list of San Diego concerts for which tickets are being offered at the discounted rate appears below. Of these, 17 are at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre (the venue formerly known as Mattress Firm Amphitheatre). The discounted $20 amphitheater tickets include parking and — depending on the concert — may apply to both reserved seats and unreserved lawn seating.
