Radiohead singer Thom Yorke set for ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour’ with Nigel Godrich, Tarik Barri
Radiohead singer and periodic DJ Thom Yorke is mounting a monthlong U.S. tour that will focus on music from his solo albums and from his album with the band Atoms for Peace. The upcoming tour will team him with longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who is also a member of Atoms for Peace, and visual artist Tarik Barri. Oliver Coates will open all the shows.
Billed as the “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour,” the concert trek is named after Yorke’s most recent solo album, which was released in 2014. The tour will open Nov. 23 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia and conclude Dec. 22 at the Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan.
It includes four California dates, including an all-ages Dec. 17 show at Observatory North Park in San Diego and two Los Angeles performances at the Orpheum Theatre on Dec. 19 and 20.
All of the tour dates and ticket information appear below.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time in all cities, some of which will have online presales. Tickets are priced at $60 each, plus service charges, for Yorke’s Observatory North Park show and will be available through TicketWeb.com.
The tour may also feature a preview of music from Yorke’s score for the upcoming horror film remake of “Suspiria,” his first major feature soundtrack.
