“Boarding House Reach” is White’s first new album since “Lazaretto” in 2014. The White Stripes officially disbanded in early 2011.

It also features a group of instrumentalists whose previous credits range from Beyoncé and Talib Kweli to jazz guitar great John Scofield and former Talking Heads’ leader David Byrne.
