What’s their age again?

Blink-182 is set to launch the first Las Vegas residency of its career.

The Poway-bred punk-pop band on Monday morning announced its “Kings of the Weekend” residency at the Palms Casino Resort’s newly renovated Pearl Concert Theater.

The trio will perform a total of 16 weekend shows between May and November. All of the dates appear below, along with ticket information.

The decision by blink to do a residency marks a significant generational shift. The trio was formed in 1992, three decades after such current Las Vegas concert residency staples as Rod Stewart and Santana released their respective debut albums.

With this new move, blink becomes the first punk-oriented act booked to do a residency of its own. The Pearl Concert Theater has a capacity of 2,500.

“When the Palms asked us to do a residency here in Vegas, we said ‘Absolutely!’” said blink-182 bassist-singer Mark Hoppus, the band’s sole remaining original member, in a statement released Monday.

“Now,” he quipped, “we just have to cast our show girls, create our set list — a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone on stage… The possibilities in Vegas are endless.”

Palms Casino Resort General Manager Jon Gray said he regards blink as a “perfect fit” for Las Vegas.

“Blink-182 is one of those bands that crosses over multiple genres of music, and also transcends many generations of music lovers,” Gray noted in a statement issued Monday morning.

“They’re a perfect fit for a true rock residency — our first at the Pearl.”

The dates for blink’s “Kings of the Weekend” are as follows: May 26-27; June 8-9; 15-16 and 23-24; October 26-27; and November 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17.

All shows are at 9 p.m.

Tickets for “Kings of the Weekend” are priced at $59, $79, $99, $109 and $169 each, plus ticket fees. They will go on sale March 23, 2018 at 10 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the Pearl Concert Theater box office, any Station Casinos Rewards Center, or online at ticketmaster.com.
