Bermuda Triangle, featuring Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, set for San Diego debut concert
Brittany Howard has at least two vibrant creative outlets to express her music.
The first, of course, is as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in Alabama Shakes.
The second is as one-third of Bermuda Triangle, which teams her with fellow singers and acoustic string instrumentalists Jesse Lafser and Becca Mancari (who both have solo albums to their credit).
Together, Howard, Lafser and Mancari perform country, folk, blues and other earthy styles that fall under the Americana music umbrella, as well as some vintage soul-flavored numbers.
They alternate on lead vocals, harmonize, trade instruments and generally sound like they are having a lot of fun.
So should you when Bermuda Triangle performs Monday night at the Music Box, a suitably cozy venue to enjoy their intimate music.
