12.31, 1.1: Michael Franti & Spearhead
The tall, barefoot troubadour and KAABOO veteran was just at Humphreys on his Stay Human Summer Tour in June. He returns to the Belly Up for an intimate, double-dip New Year’s Eve and Day extravaganza.

12.31: Magic Giant
The L.A.-based indie-folkers released their In the Wind (Acoustic) EP in July. The 5-song set features stripped down versions taken from their 2017 full-length album of the same name.

12.31: OMFG NYE 2019
The final act of three straight nights of music and madness in Point Loma. Support acts like Valentino Khan, San Holo, Tritonal, Boombox Cartel and many others round out the 72-hour mega-bill.

12.31: DJ 4B
New Jersey-based DJ and producer Bobby McKeon Jr. (aka DJ 4B) has released tracks on both Diplo’s Mad Decent Records and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. McKeon has released a few singles this year, including Drown, Whistle with TEEZ, and Ice Cold (feat. Megan Lee), the latter also getting its own 18-track remix album.

12.31: Party Favor
Back at OMNIA for a third time this year, Manhattan-born/L.A.-based DJ Dylan Ragland makes another stop in San Diego to close out the year. In addition to an amped-up NYE set, Ragland is sure to play a pair of recent singles — MDR with fellow Pacific EDM lister Baauer and October’s Circle Up with U.K. pop singer Bipolar Sunshine.

1.4: Kim Ann Foxman
After her latest solo offering, 2017’s 4-track Energy EP, this New York-based DJ and producer joined forces with Andrew Potter and Brian Hersey to form the electro-house trio Pleasure Planet. The band’s self-titled 4-track EP was released last year. Expect Foxman to play cuts from both.

1.5: BRKLYN
Following a pair of 2017 singles, I’m on Somethin’ (feat. Jocelyn Alice) and Heart of the City (feat. Mariah McManus), the L.A.-based DJ duo of Cameron Alexander and Cody Nadeau released their debut EP, Things I’ve Learned, last month. It finds the pair teamed with the likes of Zack Martino, Fairlane, Medii, and Disco Fries.

1.5: Calpurnia
Finn Wolfhard, best known for his roles in the Netflix series Stranger Things and 2017’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s It, leads this quartet which also features Ayla Tesler-Mabe on guitar, Jack Anderson on bass, and Malcolm Craig on drums. Calpurnia released their debut EP, Scout, last June.
