It’s a quiet week for music in San Diego with top performances coming from Fishbone & The Aggrolites and Gucci Mane.

12.22: Barb Wire Dolls

Since leaving their Crete homes in crisis-ridden Greece in 2010, band Barb Wire Dolls has made its home in Los Angeles. They bring their “loud and distorted” rock and roll to Soda Bar along with SoCal’s Pleasure Fix and San Diego band Hocus.

Fresh off the release of his recently “The Return of East Atlanta Santa,” rapper Gucci Mane brings his beats to North Park.

This Grammy Award nominated DJ and producer, who has worked with such acts as Outkast, 50 Cent and Young Jeezy, says he draws inspiration from the Jackson Five and various Motown artists.
