Stagecoach 2016 dates & tickets announced
The Stagecoach country music festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Indio next year. Dates for the 2016 edition will be April 29 through May 1. Approximately 20 percent of the attendees each year are from San Diego County, according to the event’s producer, Goldenvoice, which tracks ticket sales by zip code. The 2015 edition of the festival drew approximately 225,000 people, a jump of 18 percent over 2014.
A limited number of 2016 advance-sale Stagecoach passes will go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. June 26, or as long as supplies last. Ticket buyers can pay in full or spread out their payments on a lay-away plan, using the EZ Pay purchase plan. Festival passes can be purchased during the advance sale through stagecoachfestival.com.
Three-day General admission weekend passes will cost $269. Corral Standing Pit and Corral Reserved Seating passes are $899 each. All taxes, shipping and fees are included in listed ticket prices. Children under 10 are admitted free.
RV camping spots will also be available during the advance sale, but only for festival-goers who had an RV spot at the 2015 edition of Stagecoach. Those prices are $550 for dry camping and $850-$950 for camping with electrical hookup.
Goldenvoice also produces the annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which (like Stagecoach) is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The Stagecoach lineup is typically not announced until a few months before the festival begins.
