Sia and Puff Daddy (the hip-star also known as P. Diddy, Diddy and Sean “Puffy” Combs) will both stop in San Diego as part of their respective 2016 concert tours.

Sia will perform Oct. 5 at SDSU’s Viejas Arena. Her date here is part of the five-time Grammy-nominee’s Nostalgic For The Present concert trek, her first tour in five years. Miguel and AllunaGeorge will open all of Sia’s tour dates. The Australian-born singer songwriter (full name: Sia Kate Isobelle Furler) rose to prominence in the U.S. by writing songs for Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Shankira and others. The tour is in support of her new album, “This is Acting.”

Puff Daddy will perform one day later, Oct. 6, at SDSU’s Viejas Arena. His date here is part of the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour. The national concert trek teams him with Lil’ Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, 112, Total, Carl Thomas, The Lox and French Montana. The tour takes its name from Bad Boy Records, the hip-hop label launched in 1993 by Coombs.

“This isn’t just a concert - this is a moment in hip hop and R&B history.” said Sean “Diddy” Combs, a/k/a Puff Daddy, in a statement released Monday morning. “The family and I are so excited to welcome fans into this once in a lifetime experience. This tour is 20 years in the making, and is a celebration of the hits and the Bad Boy lifestyle. The Bad Boy Family has set the standard for concert excellence, and this tour will be a testament to that!”
