The fourth annual Sausage Fest is back this summer for a meaty evening featuring some of San Diego’s finest chefs.
On June 17, San Diego’s meat masters will compete for the title of Sausage King, preparing recipes centered around the sausage, like chorizo and bratwurst. Attendees will then have the chance to vote for their favorite dish, ultimately crowning this year’s champ.
Kasey Chapman of Coronado Brewing Co. took the title last year, a second win for the chef. The competition will go down at the rooftop terrace of Hotel Solamar, complete with live music from The Tighten Ups and local brews to help wash it all down.
Guests can get in on the tasting with a $10 ticket or $30 to include a take-home one-liter stein full of beer.
