Rock out with dad at the House of Blues

Share

Ties and tools may be among the traditional Father’s Day gifts, but they also can be the most boring. Why not shake things up this year by celebrating dad’s day with a unique brunch experience at the House of Blues San Diego?

Starting at 11 a.m., guests can enjoy a delectable brunch while enjoying local talent performing both traditional and contemporary gospel songs personally selected by gospel music producer and artist Kirk Franklin.

The Father’s Day Gospel Brunch features an all-you-can-eat Southern buffet that includes breakfast favorites such as eggs and bacon, southern-fried chicken, shrimp and cheese grits and carving stations with a selection of meats. House of Blues’ famous chicken and waffles also will be on the menu. Scrumptious dessert options are available for those who still have room after feasting at the buffet bar.

In addition to the fabulous dining experience, guests also will be treated to a live performance of uplifting and energetic songs. In between bites from the buffet, guests are invited to get up and dance to the soulful sounds of some of the best regional and local gospel groups as they perform a combination of contemporary and classic gospel songs.

House of Blues is able to accommodate small or large groups for this event. Group discounts are available. For information about group discounts, or to purchase tickets, call the House of Blues Box Office at (619) 299-2585. Tickets also are available online via LiveNation.
