Fresh from a successful concert at KAABOO Del Mar last month, pop singer Pink on Thursday announced a new world tour.

Her Beautiful Trauma World Tour 2018 is a 40-date engagement in North America, and it begins in Phoenix on March 1 and ends in Los Angeles on June 2.

It will make a San Diego stop on May 28 at Valley View Casino Center.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 13.

American Express cardholders can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. through Oct. 12 at 10 p.m.

U.S. and Canadian residents who buy tickets online between Oct. 10 and 20 will receive a copy of Pink’s new album, Beautiful Trauma, which drops Oct. 13.

Pink first emerged in the 1990s as an R&B singer and has made the transition - quite successfully - into other genres, namely pop and rock. During her last tour - The Truth About Love Tour - the 38-year-old singer sold out most of her 142 shows across the globe.

In addition to announcing dates for her new world tour, Pink released a new track - “Whatever You Want” - from her seventh studio album. It was produced and written by Max Martin and Shellback, along with additional writing credits from Pink. Thursday’s release joins two other tracks already released: What About Us and Beautiful Trauma.
