KAA-BOOM!

Wowee, San Diego just stepped up its music festival game with the inaugural Kaaboo Del Mar Festival, a three-day music, arts and comedy fest happening the weekend of September 18th.

Taking place at Del Mar Racetrack and Fairgrounds, festival organizers announced a massive initial lineup Monday which spans many genres.

The new festival will host over 100 acts on seven stages (named after California surfing spots,) including No Doubt, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, Zac Brown Band, Ben Harper & Innocent Criminals, Slightly Stoopid, Counting Crows, The Roots, Spoon, Sheryl Crow and Rodrigo Y Gabriela.

KAABOO will also feature a number of comedy acts such as Joel McHale, Lewis Black, Jeff Garlin and Tim Meadows.

Three-day passes for Kaaboo go on sale at 10 a.m. today, Monday, Feb. 23, on the festival’s website, kaaboodelmar.com. The price for passes is $259 per person for general admission and $699 for a VIP package, which includes a Sept. 17 pre-festival concert by Crow and Ed Kowalcyzk.
