Intervention parts ways with Hard Rock Hotel SD
The rumors are true. Intervention Sundays, the go-to San Diego Sunday party since 2009, will no longer take place at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.
In an effort to make the hotel more convention and business-friendly, Intervention Sundays are packing up the floaties and champagne bottles and parting ways. We’ll keep you posted when we get the inside scoop of what (and where) is next for the beloved pool party series.
Intervention has become synonymous with “Sunday-Funday” revelry in San Diego over the past six years. After its debut with DJ Vice on April 19, 2009, the brand brought through a wealth of major talent, putting San Diego on the EDM map and creating a scene unlike anything the city had seen before. Some of the most memorable names in Intervention San Diego history include Grammy-winner Tiesto, David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Lil Jon, Martin Solveig, Paul Van Dyk, Krewella, NERVO, Red Foo, Armin Van Buuren and many, many more.
Hard Rock Hotel San Diego hopes the new focus will make guest experiences all around more approachable, especially to the convention clientele.
You can still get one last taste of the Intervention madness before it goes! This Sunday, Feb. 15’s Wintervention featuring Benny Benassi will be the final installment of Intervention Sunday at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. VIP tables are still available; visit interventionsd.com.
In the meantime, let’s look back at some of our favorite Intervention Sundays...
