Top EDM and DJ shows coming to San Diego this month include Timmy Trumpet, Slander, Porter Robinson and the LED Anniversary VII.

It’s an encore performance for Connecticut-born/L.A.-based producer Tyler Marenyi. After helping shut down 2017 at OMFG!’s NYE 2-day extravaganza at Valley View Casino Center a month ago, the trap DJ makes a quick return to San Diego. Marenyi released the 4-track NGHTMRE, Pt. II EP in December.

2.2: Timmy Trumpet

The brass-playing Australian DJ/producer re-teamed with Savage, the New Zealand rapper featured on Trumpet’s 2014 hit Freaks, for recent single Deja-Vu.

One-time UC Irvine frat bros Derek Andersen and Scott Land have made good on their DJ dreams. The pair has worked with Skrillex, DJ Snake and Diplo, and they are credited with creating their own genre (Heaven Trap). Andersen and Land collaborated with Sullivan King on their latest single, Welcome To The Fire.
