CRSSD Festival do’s and don’ts
It’s almost time to turn up hard at CRSSD Festival on Mar. 5 and 6, but make sure you don’t get turned away for bringing prohibited items with you to Waterfront Park. Before you head out to one of San Diego’s most anticipated festivals, read through to learn all the do’s and dont’s of CRSSD Fest, including some helpful tips on what to expect at this year’s event.
-Don’t forget sunscreen. You don’t want to leave the festival looking like a lobster. Protect yourself.
-Don’t bring your cigarettes, e-cigs or vape pens. None are allowed at this party. Keep it smoke-free.
-Don’t bring your CamelBak along or waste your money on the expensive plastic water bottles available on-site. Instead plan ahead and bring a reusable Nalgene bottle. There will be several fill-up stations across the park.
-Don’t forget to check out some of the awesome after parties around town, going on from Friday to Sunday night.
-Don’t bring any laser pointers. Let the stages provide the light and lazer shows for you.
-Don’t bring along your hula hoops or drones.
-Don’t wear pasties, ladies! Cover up enough to make it through the doors.
-Don’t bring your phone charger; there’s no need! Charging stations will be located on-site for your convenience throughout the duration of CRSSD Fest.
-Don’t pack your selfie stick. Use your arm instead.
-Don’t drive to CRSSD, especially if indulging in those delicious craft drinks available for purchase. Instead, opt to Uber. There will be a set Uber drop-off location in front of the entrance to make it easier to get in and out of the fest, safely.
-Do print out your fest tickets before arriving to the show to ensure quick entry for you and others and to avoid any annoying phone-ticket glitches.
-Do enjoy some craft cocktails, craft beer and decadent dishes around the park throughout the festival.
-Do make sure you have everything you need for the all-day affair prior to entering, because once you’re in, there’s no going back. There is absolutely no re-entry at this year’s shindig.
-Do consider purchasing a locker, which includes a secure cell-charging port inside, for $25 per day or $40 for both days. You can store all your necessities and charge-up your phone in a safe, secure place while you enjoy a live set or two.
-Do bring your identification card for entry-purposes. This is a 21-and-up event.
-Do bring GoPros (no sticks), sunglasses, sealed gum, sealed chapstick and a towel to sit on when you are in need of some dancing downtime.
-Do bring a willingness to let go and get lost in the epic tunes and fun at this year’s show; it’s going to be a hell of a time!
