Craft beer & reggae festival returns to Harrah’s SoCal
A day filled with live reggae music and some of California’s most cherished craft breweries? Jah mon! Harrah’s Resort SoCal presents the second annual Hop Heads & Dreads festival on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 3 to 7 p.m.
The event boasts a multitude of brews to try from all over the state. Those who like cold, craft beer can look forward to tasting Lagunitas Brewing Company, Alpine Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits, Rip Current, Urbn St. Brewing, Jamul Brewing Co., Bells Brewing and several others. Cheers to that!
While you sip on those unlimited tasters, go ahead and bob your head to the beat of The Expendables with a special appearance by Mike Love. Skunk Dub, Sandollar and LesterFari & Kings Music will also be jamming at the festival. Food trucks will be on site serving up grub, as well.
Tickets are $60 and available at ticketmaster.com. All festival-goers will receive a souvenir taster glass as well as a festival T-shirt. Designated driver tickets are available for purchase with purchase of one full-price ticket. Harrah’s also has a special hotel package: If you’re booking a stay the day of the event, you’ll receive two tickets to the festival for free.
