Concerts, parties & more at Farmers Insurance Open

Share

At this year’s Farmers Insurance Open, gentle golf claps are acceptable during the tournament hours. Once the play finishes however, Feb. 5-8, a thunderous round-of-applause will be highly encouraged.

That’s because things are kicking up a few notches during the iconic and prestigious PGA TOUR golf tournament held annually at Torrey Pines Golf Course.

On the 15th green, golf fans and music fans alike can gather in The Fringe, a post-party production presented by Harrah’s Resort SoCal. Beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. each day, live music from local groups will swell throughout the scenic course.

The performance lineup starts off on Thursday, Feb. 5 with four-time San Diego Music Award winner Steven Ybarra playing a soulful pop-country blend. On Friday, Feb. 6, Super Groupie will bring a mix of hip-hop alternative and pop, and on Saturday, Feb. 7, catch reggae jams with a splash of southern rock from Sandollar. The post party ends at 5:15 p.m.

The Fringe is open to the public once the last group has played through the 15th hole. It’s all part of the dynamic SERVPRO Fan Village, essentially the epicenter of all fan action at the Farmers Insurance Open. Other attractions within the SERVPRO Fan Village include the Michelob Ultra 19th Hole featuring a massive LED screen with live golf coverage, the Expo with endless golf equipment, special offers and interactive displays, and a charity zone for guests to learn more about the ways that the Farmers Insurance Open gives back.

There’s also a Grey Goose lounge to enjoy sips of Grey Goose signature cocktails on the par 3 8th green, a Beringer Wine Bar with blissful ocean views and Michelob Ultra Oasis just off the 18th Fairway.

Get ready to “Torrey it up” Feb. 5-8 with tons of fun beyond the basic tournament. #SeeYouatTorrey
