‘Coffee House’ tour hits North Park Saturday
How caffeinated will Joshua Radin and Rachael Yamagata be when they perform Saturday at Observatory North Park? They are, after all, embarked on The Coffee House Live Tour. But that moniker actually refers to the troubadour-championing Sirius XM satellite radio show sponsoring their joint concert trek. Radin and Yamagata will perform solo sets and sit in with each other, which is when the fun should really start. Yamagata, 39, is a gifted singer-songwriter who launched her solo career 16 years ago. Opening act Brandon Jenner is the son of Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner and Linda Thompson, who was Elvis Presley’s girlfriend for several years in the 1970s.
Joshua Radin & Rachael Yamagata: The Coffee House Live Tour, with Brandon Jenner: 8 p.m. Saturday. Observatory North Park, 2891 University Ave., North Park. $25. 619.239.8836 or ticketweb.com
