Catch the luck of the Irish at shamRock
Celebrate with the masses during the 22nd annual shamROCK event on Saint Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17 in the Gaslamp Quarter.
Starting at 4 p.m. and continuing late into the night, shamROCK 2016 will transform downtown into an authentic 150-foot outdoor Irish pub. Covering more than 80,000 square feet with Astroturf, the Gaslamp Quarter will be the perfect place to let loose and show off your Irish jig.
Wear green and your best dancing shoes while you enjoy all three entertainment stages featuring live Irish bands, rainbow themed go-go dancers and top regional DJs. The band line-up includes Bad Haggis, The Fenians, Ass Pocket Whiskey Fellas, Drunken Lullabies and The Fooks. Attendees can enjoy flowing Jameson Irish Whiskey and green Bud Light beer to keep the party going all night. shamROCK will take over the streets of G and F between Fifth and Seventh avenues and on Sixth Avenue between E and G streets.
shamROCK general admission tickets are $35 through March 3, $40 through March 16, and $45 the day of the event. Upgrade to VIP and receive exclusive VIP restroom access, $1 off drinks at the VIP bar and lounge area, VIP entrance, three complementary drinks inside the VIP Lounge and three complementary drinks at partnering restaurants outside of the venue.and three complementary drinks at partnering restaurants outside of the venue. Purchase your VIP ticket before March 3 for $75. Ticket prices will raise to $85 through March 16 and $95 on the day of shamROCK. Buy your tickets early before they sell out.
