Top EDM and DJ shows coming to San Diego this month include Tokimonsta, EDX, Bassjackers and Lil Jon.
4.1: Pegboard Nerds
The Scandinavian super squad (Danish DJ Michael Parsberg and Norwegian DJ Alex Odden) just released their single “Voodoo (feat. Tony Junior)” and remixed The Chainsmokers’ “Paris.” San Diego is the third stop on the pair’s current 25-date “Revenge of the Nerds” tour.

4.7: Clean Bandit
This Brit electro-pop trio was founded at the University of Cambridge and won a 2015 Best Dance Recording Grammy for their single “Rather Be.” Their recent collaboration with Sean Paul and Anne-Marie, “Rockabye,” has hit No. 1 in 13 countries and is still currently charting across the globe.

4.7: Above & Beyond
Founders of the Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep record labels, the Grammy-nominated Brit DJ trio of Tony McGuinness, Jono Grant, and Paavo Siljamaki released their fifth studio album, “Acoustic II,” last year.

4.7: Tokimonsta
The L.A.-based DJ, also known as Jennifer Lee, released her fourth solo album, the seven-track “Fovere,” last year. It features collaborations with fellow Angeleno up-and-comers Anderson .Paak and Gavin Turek.

4.14: Bassjackers
First meeting in high school, the Dutch DJ duo of Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst have released singles on their home country’s Spinnin’ Records since 2010. Their latest for the label is the song “Can’t Take It,” which features Denver electro-trio Breathe Carolina and 20-year-old Florida-based singer Cade.

4.15: Eric Dlux
Also part of the duo FAED with Las Vegas-based DJ Five, this co-writer of the hit “Shots” with LMFAO and Lil Jon got his start at L.A. radio station Power 106 FM.

4.19: SOHN
The London-born producer, singer and songwriter released his second album of electro-soul, the 10-track “Rennen,” in January. It’s a follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2014 debut “Tremors” and translates as “to run” in German.

4.21: Julian Jordan
This 21-year-old Dutch DJ has already collaborated with EDM powerhouses like Sander van Doorn and Martin Garrix in his young career. And he’s apparently wasting no time in 2017. He’s already released two singles this year: “Always” with CHOCO and “Say Love” with Sj.

4.22: EDX
Swiss-born Italian DJ and producer Maurizio Colella (aka EDX) released his latest single, “Dharma,” in February, and alongside Nora En Pure, released a remix of Alok’s “Hear Me Now” last month.

4.22-23: Life In Color
This 18-and-up, two-night, EDM paint-party extravaganza celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Life In Color concert series. It features N.Y.-based EDM trio Cash Cash, Canadian turntablist A-Trak, British DJ/producer Rusko and more.

4.28: Lil Jon
The Grammy-winning King of Crunk returns to San Diego. The DJ and actor released the single “Take It Off” with Yandel and Becky G last year, and recently appeared on AMC’s Walking Dead discussion show, Talking Dead, to speak about sixth-season episode “Hostiles and Calamities.”

4.28: UZ
Little is known about the true identity of the constantly masked DJ, but he did just team with Two Fresh for the release of the single “Stockholm White (feat. Elliphant)” in February. His new EP, “Moments of Life,” is out this month.

4.28: Louis Futon
Building his name on official remixes for the likes of Future, Logic, Mos Def, Wiz Khalifa and more, this 23-year-old Philadelphia-based DJ just released his latest single, “Surreal (feat. RKCB),” last month.

4.29: Stööki Sound & Joker
The London-based, hip-hop and trap DJ/production duo Stööki Sound (DJ Lukey and Jelacee) joins forces with the Slovenian-born, Austria-based DJ Joker for a dual performance in San Diego.
