Want to work out silently and socially?

Vibes Fitness Festival, slated for June 30, will offer the opportunity during its inaugural event at Liberty Station. The all-day festival features fitness classes and wellness workshops in a silent disco format.

Upon arrival, each guest receive a pair of wireless sound immersion headphones to wear for the day. These personal headphones will play curated music playlists, special DJ sets and voices of instructors throughout the day.

The Main Stage hosts an array of silent disco classes starting at 11 a.m. with breath work and sound healing session from The Healing Couple. Then turn the energy up with The Boxing Club at 12:30 p.m. and LIIT HIIT, a hybrid workout with jams from DJ Maria Spins at 2 p.m. A calmer Meditative Vibes yoga class, incorporating CDB, led by Desiree Vargas will follow.

Take a break from classes at 5 p.m. and listen to a live podcast recording of Ava Johnson’s The Alchemized Life, featuring guest Organifi cofounder Djamel. Then jump back in with two evening offerings: Pure Barre with Katt Mackin and Meg Hamilton at 6:15 p.m. and Yoga After Dark featuring DJ Mango Jennings at 7:45 p.m.

Additionally, Pure Indoor Cycling will host a 45-minute class every hour from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on the Cycling Floor.
Meditative Vibes, a wellness event company, supplies the headphones that will power all of the ticketed classes. According to its website, the service aims to “bring people together and allow them to disconnect so they can reconnect productively.”

Vibes Fitness Festival tickets are $90 for an all-day pass to access all classes or $49 for a half-day option, which grants ticketholders entry into four classes of their choosing.

Can’t commit to a ticket? Non-silent disco community classes and workshops are free and do not require advanced registration.

Community classes will kick off with an elevated yoga collaboration with MindBody and Yoga Box, hosted by Arielle of Sweat In SD. Other offerings include Interactive Fun Fitness class with Orange Theory, a yoga strength workout with Flow Lift Fitness and more.

There will also be workshops about mobility, mental health, crystals and cannabis. Plus, a public market will feature more than 25 vendors — including Imperfect Produce, Soul Spark and JIV Athletics — to bring home goodies and extend the wellness experience after the festival.
