Carlsbad by the Sea kicks off Yoga & Swim Saturdays
Carlsbad by the Sea recently renovated its facility and is ready to celebrate.
Starting June 1, the North County venue invites San Diegans to work out and relax in style. Stop by the Carlsbad hotel every week for Yoga & Swim Saturdays to delight in a day fully immersed in the outdoors.
First, sprawl out on the grassy courtyard for a yoga workout that embraces the elements. Bring a mat and towel or rent them for $2 each. From beginners to experts, yogis of all levels are welcome.
Each class blends two styles: Vinyasa flowing yoga and calmer Hatha yoga. The workouts start at 10 a.m. and are 75 minutes long. June instructors are Justice Klein and Nikkie Fantocone, and teachers for July and August are TBA.
After the workout, yogis can reward themselves with a dip in the pool and trip to the spa. The cost of the class grants each attendee entry to the hotel’s pool and spa from 11:15 a.m. until sundown. As part of the Carlsbad by the Sea renovation, the pool area now boasts new cabanas as well as a colorful mural.
Class price is $25, which includes complimentary parking. Hotel guests can attend for free. Check in early at the front desk to secure spots in the class and snag an all-access pass for a fun afternoon in the sun. (Alternatively, $15 tickets will be available for those who want to skip the pool.)
