Super Bowl LI will be the inaugural bash for neighboring Moonshine Beach and Cerveza Jack's and they are hoping to kick it off with a bang. Football fans can enjoy multiple TVs, including a 30-foot by 7.5-foot LED screen, patio seating and arcade games (for when play on the TV is slow). The party kicks off at 11 a.m. with a specialty menu featuring $2 al pastor, pollo asado and carnitas tacos, plus $3 carne asada, fish, and bacon and shrimp tacos. There also will be half off select menu items. Beer and drink specials include $4 domestic beers and $5 "we-call-its."

Super Bowl parties at Firehouse in PB are no joke. The bar and restaurant with rooftop ocean views grows its space by fencing off an outdoor parking lot to create a "backyard" barbecue party zone, complete with a 20-foot LED Jumbotron, "Club Caliente" with tacos, turf and tequila is decked out by Grand Artique and will star a guest chef from Rubicon Deli, plus feature DJs, a full bar, local beers and comfy couches or bleacher seating options. Tickets for this event, which starts at 1 p.m., are $20.

Catch the game, then catch a flick at The Lot La Jolla. Enjoy indoor and outdoor viewing areas in the restaurant, bar and patio at this La Jolla hot spot. Throw a few back at Double Deuce at the bar's all-you-can-eat tailgate party from 3 p.m. to halftime and and all-you-can-drink from 3 p.m. to end of game. Don't just watch football, play it. From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, 5th Quarter Sports is hosting its fourth annual Super Bowl Tournament with flag football. The day will include an 8-on-8, co-ed tournament at Liberty Station NTC Park, where all players register as a free agent and teams are determined by random draw the morning of.
