Sprint, swim and bike at the San Diego International Triathlon
Lace up those sneakers, strap on that swimsuit and get ready to hit the pavement and water at the 35th annual San Diego International Triathlon, coursing through town on June 25. The triathlon is one of the longest standing triathlons in the country, offering multiple courses to choose from, including a sprint course and an international course.
The triathlon will kick off at Spanish Landing Park (across from the San Diego International Airport) with the main race (the international course), kicking off at 6:35 a.m. Each race features chip timing, a tech t-shirt, continental breakfast, race photos, online results and finisher medals for participants.
Choose from sprint triathlon, international triathlon, the international relay triathlon or the international aquabike race. Registration is $135-$265, depending on the race. To register online, visit active.com.
Beyond race perks, participants can also enjoy a beer garden and live band, post-race. All of the event and race proceeds go to
Father Joe’s Villages, San Diego’s largest homeless services provider.
