Take a refreshing dive into the saltwater pool at The Pearl Hotel’s Polar Plunge on Tuesday, Dec. 15 for a fun-filled evening of giving back.
The event proceeds will be donated to ARTS (A Reason To Survive), an organization that aims to support and advocate for arts programs that promote the empowerment of youth facing adversity. For every plunger that takes on the challenge of hopping into the chilly water, The Pearl will donate $25 and up to $1,000.
Post-plunge, the fun rages on with a classic dive-in viewing of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” on the 13-foot projection screen above the pool. Specialty drinks, including virgin and non-virgin Oaxaca hot chocolate will be on deck, as well as some yummy hand-crafted eats.
If you’d like to participate in the Polar Plunge, send an RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Those who are daring enough to take the leap will receive 10 percent-off their entire dinner bill at The Pearl’s restaurant.
The event will start at 8 p.m. For more information, please visit thepearlsd.com
