Run and dance for a purpose at the Night Nation Run

Share

Light may be at the end of the tunnel, but on April 15 light will envelop runners at the Night Nation Run.

At the “world’s first running music festival,” participants will make their way through an illuminated racecourse while stopping at DJ stages along the way. After crossing the finish line, all runners can dance the night away at the main stage where celebrity performers and a surprise headliner will end the night.

Throughout the course, guests can take a break from running by enjoying selfie stations, light shows and gear giveaways.

The run will be hosted at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Gates open at 5 p.m., a pre-party to pump up all runners will follow at 6:30 p.m. and the first wave of the race takes off at 7:30 p.m.

Standard registration tickets are $60 and include admission to the after party, a glow necklace, race bib and t-shirt. Premium registration is $70 while VIP registration is $80. Both include additional perks. To receive a special discount, enter the code RUNSD at checkout.

Participants also are invited to donate to Stand Up To Cancer, a charity that focuses on cancer research.
