Daileyfest 2016 offers outdoor barre class
For those who love barre classes, but would rather not be confined to the walls of your gym, the upcoming Daileyfest event is coming to Ruocco Park on Sunday, June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Daileyfest is an outdoor barre festival that is hosted by Little Italy, Rancho Bernardo and Carlsbad Dailey Method studios. The festival is San Diego’s only outdoor barre festival and will feature a brand new class for participants called the Dailey Fusion class, combining traditional Dailey Barre classes with the intensity of their interval class.
Enjoy a key note speaker before embarking on a fun, fitness-focused morning. After the class, taking place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., attendees can shop around various local vendors offering wellness goodies and other hand-crafted items. There will also be a live DJ playing tunes to make for an awesome afternoon in the sun.
Choose from a handful of all-organic, local and sustainable food truck options to help you refuel after class, or head to the meditation setting workshop, ideal for those looking to relax and quiet their busy minds.
This event is free to attend. All you need to bring is your photo ID, a yoga mat and any other necessities for the day. Ruocco Park is located at the corner of Harbor Lane and Pacific Highway. To register, visit eventbrite.com
