The Color Run raises domestic violence awareness as it returns to San Diego

On Nov. 4, the Color Run 5k charity race returns to San Diego at SDCCU Stadium.

This year, the race is working with Break the the Silence Against Domestic Violence charity and is an event for both individual runners and teams of up to four people.

Prior to the race, there will be activities like dancing, warm-up stretching, music and giveaways. Race participants can also enjoy the new Purple Color Zone, along with giant unicorns and the Lay’s® Poppables™ Foam Zone.

The route stretches around the perimeter of the SDCCU Stadium parking lot and throughout the race, runners will have colorful powders thrown at them.

Runners will receive an event t-shirt, Color Runner headband, color packet and a Unicorn Finisher’s Medal.

Race check-in is at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting at 9 a.m.
