Bike and get buzzed at Bikes & Beers

Share

San Diego’s second annual Bikes & Beers event will ride through the city on Saturday, March 28, taking cyclists on a 22-mile journey through San Diego’s most dynamic neighborhoods, followed by a beer festival at the new Quartyard.

The route begins at 10 a.m., and spans downtown to Balboa Park, Hillcrest, Old Town, Sunset Cliffs and San Diego Bay. There are pit stops for snacks and water along the way, but the big finale of the ride ends with two pints of beer from Stone Brewing Co., Modern Times, Mike Hess Brewing and more at Quartyard.

Post-event festivities also include food trucks, a beer garden, bike shop stands, speakers and live music. All participants will receive a pint glass, a first year membership to BikeSD, a raffle ticket and access to the festival.

This event supports BikeSD, a bicycle advocacy organization working to make San Diego a world-class city for biking.

$45 until March 14; $50 after. To register and for more information, visit www.bikesandbeers.org.
